As per Energy Central, wind power now employs more workers in the United States compared to other power plants, including nuclear, natural gas, coal and hydroelectricity. Furthermore, one out of every four of wind workers are employed in the state of Texas.
It’s not like wind power is slowing down anytime soon either, as the United States alone could add nearly 400,000 more jobs in the next thirteen years.
2017 certainly is off to a good start, as another report just last month showed that solar energy now employs double the number of people in oil, coal and gas – COMBINED!
As these numbers continue to grow, humanity now is one step closer to a future where traditional fossil fuel becomes a thing of the past.
