A certain team of scientists from the University of California are competing in a space project that, should they win, allow them to brew their own beer on the moon.
Yes, you read that right.
The Telegraph reports that a team led by Srivaths Kaylan are working hard to develop a brewing process that will allow them to make their own drinks and get drunk while on the moon.
Before this can happen, though, the team has to best 24 others who’re also working hard for their experiment to be on the TeamIndus spacecraft.
Meanwhile, TeamIndus is also working hard to compete for the Google Lunar XPRIZE where the first team able to send over a rover to the moon and send back high quality media back to Earth before this year (2017) ends will be given 20 million dollars.
