Peyton Manning Has Retired

A month after his second Super Bowl Championship and after 18 years of playing football professionally, Peyton Manning announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, March 7, 2016. Manning, who will turn 40 later this month, thanked his supporters, family, teammates and rivals during his press conference.

Manning seemed very optimistic regarding future opportunities on and off the football field. The optimism seems appropriate, seeing as ESPN, FOX, NBC and CBS have all expressed interest in a Peyton Manning broadcast career.
